The actor, who plays Lord Alfred Paget in the hit ITV period drama, has let slip a shocking twist.
In the dramatic trailer for the festive episode, Queen Victoria (Jenna Coleman) is seen frantically searching through broken ice, moments after her husband Prince Albert (Tom Hughes) was shown skiing.
Despite, the clip ending before the distressed victim was revealed, many have speculated that the person trapped in the freezing water was Albert.
Now, Jordan has disclosed exactly what will happen to Albert and how the Christmas special will play out.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Jordan revealed that Albert will take an unexpected tumble, saying: “I think he takes a little fall on the ice perhaps.”
Jordan also teased an upcoming marriage, adding: “There’s going to be at least one proposal in the Christmas special.”
The episode titled Comfort and Joy will see the royal couple clash as both reach boiling point.
ITV released a synopsis to tease the special, writing: “Set in Christmas 1846, the episode sees Victoria uncharacteristically melancholy as she prepares to tackle her first Christmas without her beloved Baroness Lehzen.
“Pregnant with her and Albert’s fourth child, the festive period reminds her of her lonely childhood spent at Kensington.
“Albert, on the other hand is gripped by an obsession with staging the perfect family Christmas, transforming the palace into a magical festive wonderland.”
The Victoria Christmas special, Comfort and Joy, will air on ITV on Christmas Day at 9pm.
