Weight loss diet plan to get a slimmer waist in a month revealed by a celebrity trainer | Diets | Life & Style


Weight loss takes dedication, but expert tips can always help you along the path to a fitter leaner body.

A celebrity personal trainer has revealed to Express.co.uk their top tips for getting a slimmer waist in just one month.

Drinking three litres of water a day and eating carbs at only certain times of day will help, she claims. 

Paulette Sybliss is a certified female personal trainer with over 15 years experience in the fitness industry, including one to one training, group fitness training and presenting as well as nutrition and healthy eating coaching.

How to get a slimmer waist in one month

Eat carbs at specific time

Paulette said: “Eat your carbs when the body is less likely to store them as fat, that is first thing in the morning, about an hour before a training session and straight after an intense workout.”

Drink three litres of water a day

“Drink water often daily, it can help with fat loss, getting rid of cellulite and getting that slimmer waistline.

“Aim to drink a minimum of two litres daily but aim for three litres especially if you are working out often. It is important to replenish water lost through sweating.”

Add weights to your routine

“Start to include weight training in your workouts, weight training is great at stripping body fat fast and your waistline is an area of the body that will typically respond well.

“Perform as many compound exercises as you can during every workout, such as squats, lunges, push-ups and rows. They work more than one muscle group at a time, and all work the abdominals.”

Don’t worry too much about cardio

“There is no need to do endless cardio, if you do wish to add in some cardio, try interval training or High Intensity Interval training on a treadmill set on a high incline. 

“Do short periods of intense work (power walking or running) followed by short rest periods, keep repeating this for 10 to 15 minutes.”

Paulette also recommended the workout plan Meghan Markle should do to get in shape for her wedding. 

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Paulette said: “Meghan is already in great shape so to ensure she looks spectacular for her big day and has the perfect bikini body on her honeymoon I would recommend she focus on a balanced workout routine, some resistance training and some yoga, which she loves to do.

“Also some selected cardio that will get every part of her body toned and in amazing shape.

“Meghan’s dress is bound to be breathtaking and may well show off her upper body.

“Pairing exercises together in the form of a superset or triset (two or three exercises back-to-back) will be one of the best ways to get her body toned and in amazing shape in a shorter period. This style of training is great for burning calories during training as well as after her workouts have ended.”
